The end of the good track with plenty of
parking and room to turn around if towing. Would also make a
good campsite.
From here, to access the river's edge at
Running Waters, it's just a short walk or drive along a narrow section of
rock shelf and potholes where you'll find a deep narrow channel of water fringed by large paperbark trees with knobbly exposed roots. During peak times, do not drive on if it's already busy, or if towing without first walking to
check conditions and space at the end. Limited room to park or turn around.
Many people come to
Running Waters for a day trip so to minimise your impact on the area, please leave your vehicle here and walk the final section. You'll be glad you did as you'll notice the damage caused by too much vehicular traffic.
