These
ruins of Della’s Dairy consists of milking stalls, and trough that can be accessed via a short cycle/walk path off Wanneroo Road near the corner of Whitfords Avenue, Wangara in the Yellagonga Regional Park. Amongst the industrial backdrop of car yards that line the east side of Wanneroo Road, Della's Dairy on the west side, is a stark reminder of yesteryear when this area supported market gardens and dairy farms.
Italian, Enrico Della-Marta arrived in Australia in 1924 & took up dairy farming here in 1925 with his wife Ida. This site is listed on the Wanneroo
Heritage Inventory.
