Hammond Road Campground - VIC

This camp is located in the Great Otways National Park. This is a Parks Vic managed campsite and bookings apply. This is located only a short distance from another campground of similar name (Hammond North). Most sites here are only suited to tents with lovely large open grassy area but no camping beside vehicle in the tent areas.
There are also 4 bookable drive through caravan/camper trailer/motorhome sites - these are very small so check details carefully before booking.
The only facilities here are a pit toilet and water tank (not potable water).
Situated in the dryer northern end of the Otways, vegetation tends towards heathland with Brown Stringybark, Messmate and Shining Peppermint with some wattle understory.
Campfires permitted except during fire ban periods. No dogs, no generators. Limited/no phone service.
