Dispersed clearings on thickly forested hillside slopes above the Murrindindi River.
Well shaded by mature Messmate, Mountain
Grey Gum, Red Stringybark, narrow-leaved Peppermint,
Blackwood and wattles. Sites are scattered along a winding, narrow access track, to provide ample bush between most. The slope of many sites may limit use by campervans. Fees $5 per car/night.
Wombats, kookaburras, wrens and kurrajongs are common and friendly.
This is the most remote and only Murrindindi site where dogs are permitted. Can be popular over school holidays.
Access on the Wilhelmina Falls Rd (gravel) from the Information Board, 4.7k south to the signposted access track on the left.
