ExplorOz - David & Michelle

Ahhh... our first sleep-in! But a few spits of rain & some wind made us hurry along. It was a great day for driving but we still explored some tracks & found more ruins & interesting sites before reaching the Nullarbor Roadhouse. We indulged in flushing toilets, ice creams & hot chips then said more sad goodbyes before we turned west into gale force winds & WestPrint turned east with a tailwind!

We opted for the Old Eyre Highway & spent all day documenting, photographing & exploring tracks to all the caves, blowholes, tanks etc. Of course this will become a Trek Note when we get back in the office ;)

Koonalda is interesting but unfortunately the cave is closed for public exploration. Our off road journey ended as we came into Border Village & reached the bitumen. We now feel its homeward bound & ended the day at a rest area just west of Eucla.
