The trip today was from
Bruny Island to
Port Arthur and our
home for the next 3 nights at the White Beach Caravan Park. The rods were good except for a lot of roadwork's on the road from Dunalley to
Eaglehawk Neck. The improvements will be great when finished, it was just a bit slow going in some parts. We stopped at a little café in what looked like a "Tin Shed" in Copping. The food and the service was great and very friendly.
After checking in at the caravan park we had a break and checked out the amenities. The park is very
well presented with little hedges between most sites, it is
well grassed and right on
the beach. The Toilets/Showers were immaculate. After checking the weather forecast for the next few days we decided to book into the Tasman Island Cruise, which is run by the same company that ran the
Bruny Island Cruise we enjoyed earlier. After a quick trip into
Port Arthur to make the booking for tomorrow, we then took a side trip to see "T he Incredible Cave" which is on the coast south of
Port Arthur. The
views along the way of Safety Cove were great. The walk down steps to the
cave were fairly steep, but
the rock formations and the
cave was worth the walk. Back at the top we took the time to look out across the Ocean and some of the headlands in the distance.
