The powered van and camper sites are fairly small and access to some is difficult. They have a limit on the size of Caravans and Campers of 5.5 Metres overall length. When we arrived just before lunch time we saw what happens when someone had booked in with a bigger van, they had got in the day before while the site next door was vacant, but on trying to leave they were jammed between a tree, a post and the other vans. Our site was past the van blocking the road and our van fitted without an issue, we just had to wait until the big van was finally moved.
The
camp itself was
well set up and the amenities were clean and
well maintained.
A short walk through the coastal scrub and we were on Richardsons beach, from
the beach you can see the houses on the
hill at
Coles bay on one side and the Mountains of the park on the other. The weather was wet and cold with squalls coming through every now and then, so the day was spent relaxing and enjoying the quiet.
