Beauty Point ( Nothern Tas )to Cape York

19 Days till I put myself and the cruiser on the Spirit of Tas for our annual 4x4 and motorbike trip.
Last year we headed through Thargomindah ,Cameron's corner ,Flinders Ranges ,Alice ,Uluru ,Mount Dare ,Simpson ,Birdsville and back to the start at Thargo .Not counting everyones journey from home that ranged from myself in Tas and the others from Lismore ,Brisbane ,Mackay ,Townsville and Cairns .
This time we leave Cairns on the 13th July for a two week trip to the Tip and back with 5 bikes and the 105 as backup .
16 Days counting down .Had a pre pack to check the loading of the camping and cooking gear . Two new Mickey Thompson 4 rib tyres on the back to match the tyres replaced for last years trip .Service and oil change next week as well as a check and tighten underneath and we should be nearly ready to cross the creek to Vic and beyond.
Have purchased a poor mans gopro from Jayca to back up the JVC video camera .Seems a bit cheap and fiddly but the video quality is pretty good .
Now have been given the wild card and offered to pick up a mates Elliot 7 trailer sailer to tow from the Gold Coast to Airlie Beach and return to Tas after racing . At least a solid tent .
