We are looking into doing the Broken Hill to Darwin probally next year around June or July and was wondering what are some really interesting places to see. We love getting off the highway as much as possible and both enjoy reliving history when visiting new places. So any thoughts would be great.

Hi Katz
You could go straight up from Broken Hill assuming you have a 4x4. Check out Milparinka, Mokely Creek, Cameron Corner, Innamincka, Cooper Creek. Then into Qld and the Bourke & Wills Dig Tree, Cordillo Downs Woolshed and to Birdsville, while there you could shoot out to Big Red and try it out. Then up to Boulia, Mt Isa and to Darwin. On your way back after doing Kakadu and Litchfield off course you could do the Oodnadatta Track and check out Chambers Pillar, Dalhousie Springs and heaps more before you get back to Broken Hill.
Cheers
