Are you over Ningaloo way? We may need to pick your brains soon, going to head over for a few weeks at Xmas.

Sorry, I'm down in Perth, tho love Ningaloo. Was a while ago I was there, but hope to be up there next year with some Sydney friends. Not sure what the arrangements are with Ningaloo station these days re camping. Winderabandi bay was excellent, but no facilities at all - bring everything. I understand that if not in an equipped van, one must now have a chemical toilet if staying in the area. Digging a hole is definitely out!
Can also recommend Gnaraloo, between Carnarvon and Coral Bay (accessed via the Quobba road). Rough (stony) camping sites, but has good toilets/showers and a shop, and like you, satellite internet. The coral reef comes right into the shore (does in places at Ningaloo too). Not cheap camping, but a memorable place. Red Bluff pretty good too.
Those pics around Tjukayirla are amazing! Definitely gonna stop for longer next time thru!
