we have a ford
ranger xlt and thinking of putting on a roof pod. has anyone done this and if so any problems. i am yet to see a dual cab around with a roof pod--any photos

Make sure you buy a good one, I needed one for one trip only & bought a cheapy, first time a semi passed me going in the opposite direction the lock broke & the pod blew open.
If you do buy one on price, put a strap around it.

I have a Isuzu Dmax with the rhino track mount racks on board.
Mounted to that is rhino's 440 pod. Has three point locking system on each side with master fit clamps to mount on to rack. Very secure on truck and very useful. Minimal wind noise- can't coment on economy differance as I haven't had the ute long. Hope this helps cheers

Thanks for the info, helps alot as i had not actually seen any duel cab utes of any make travelling with a pod, I am going down the same line with rhino track mounted racks and using a rola 360 litre pod. Would still like to see a photo of one set up

Not having seen the rola pod, i can't coment on it, but the rhino can be installed or removed when not needed.in 2 minutes. As shaker said, make sure your comfortable with all the locks, hinges & mounts.
