From road report
Cunningham Highway -
Warwick and Inglewood is closed indefinately at
Sandy Creek due to flood waters being released from Leslie
Dam
Does anyone know approximately how long road willl be closed ?
We are due to head to
Melbourne 19/1/11 and were planning to go via
Goondiwindi.

Pedro,
Goondiwindi south may be closed by then anyway, I would try and head down the
New England and then cut across to the Newell.
Boggabilla is being evacuated so there is plenty of water around.

Pedro,
As you can get to
Warwick, head south to Armidale/
Tamworth then across to Gunnadah and south from there :)
HTH
Cheers Kev

Friends stuck here with us in
Brisbane have similar dilemma but trying to leave today with roads cut north of
Grafton still.
Suggested route is
Ballina, Casino then either south to
Grafton or out west to
Tenterfield down to
tamworth and then towards Dubbo.
