The T bones we got from the butcher attached to the IGA Express are some

of the best we have had on the west coast.

Make sure you get a copy of the little booklet Amazing North.

It has discount petrol vouchers it at BP stations along the coast including the

Fuel station at Exmouth.

Saved us a bit so far.

generally speaking BP is the dearest around, keep an eye on it. Buy your fuel in Carnarvon if you can.

Had to laugh a few years back when I drove across the Nullabor, and was fueling up in Port Augusta. Saw a car with WA plates and asked about fuel across Nullabor. They said use SAFF at Mundrabilla and the ones at Ceduna

Halfway across I stopped to look at the whales and a guy in a Patrol pulled up next to me, started yarning and he showed me a book of discount vouchers he was given at one of the roadhouses for fuel. A 10cent discount.

But the SAFF and Ceduna were around 30 cents cheaper and not included in the vouchers of course. Theres a monstrous sign outside each with the prices and he was still sucked in. Even filled 2 jerrycans.

Have you noticed that saff is ethanol blended I will not use it my fuel consumption increases significantly after filling up at these outlets maybe it just affects my setup but have done the trip 6 times in last 3 years and have found the same outcome each time
