Traveling Kibbles
Hello to all,
We are in
Broome and then heading to
Middle Lagoon for a while. Would like to know if anyone has done the
Gibb River over the last month or so, we have heard they had a bit of rain?!

Gday, Just got back from a trip to the
kimberley . We travelled from
Kununurra to the start of the
Gibb River Road, staying at
El Questro and then out to
Mitchell Falls.
The road was in quite good condition although there were some wash outs still requiring work .While at
Mitchell Falls rain fell and closed the road for a couple of days .Continuing on after the road was reopened some large chopped up sections were encountered, but had already dried out and we had no problems going around them . The
grader was working on the road in some sections, and in most cases a reasonable speed was maintained. On to
Mornington Wilderness camp and then
Windjana Gorge the road continued to be in good condition , just watch the dips and water crossings. Cheers Angus .
