Yes that's right folks, I will now be popping up all over the place picking your brains and harvesting info from you.

If you have not come across me yet I am a Queenslander and proud of it and hope to see more of our fantastic country.

If you care to introduce yourselves to me I will play nice.

regards

Its the passive ones you have to be careful of !!!!!
How many times have you read in the paper- quote by neighbor " he was such a nice quiet guy "

Ivan Milat drove a Nissan Patrol and kept it quite imaculate, sounds like some formites here !!!!! LOL

Didn't know that little fact TPM. Think I will save it up for the next time the Nissan vs Tojo debate comes up.

Shouldn't have to wait long ;-)

We love singing to the inter staters at the soccer over here. First we start with............"We all come from Snowtown........We all come from Snowtown"
Then we give them ....."You're going home in a Barrell......... You're going home in a Barrellllll" :))

G'day crackles,

Also another proud QLD'r. Hope to see you at one of the gatherings soon.
Harvesting my brains will be a difficult and long process as I only produce one brain cell at a time and that takes a whole year. Maybe it would be easier getting blood from a stone.
Take care and hope to put a face to the screen name soon.

Regards, Trevor.

Hi Trev,

will only get to gatherings close to home for the rest of the year but I'd really like to meet a few of the people here, Maybe we could organise a state of origin nite at one of the bush pubs, reckon it would go off with a bang.

great idea.
What do we have.... 2 weeks to get this off the ground??
Maybe some out there have a good pub to suggest such a gathering, maybe down around Rathdowney ??? Remembering we will need to camp real close as I don't agree with DD and I am sure many others would be the same.
It is easy for me to do this being self employed but I am unsure how many others would be in the same boat when they have to turn up for work in Brissy or elswhere the next day???

Cheers, Trevor.

We wouldn't be able to make it (work and 1000km drive) but I think you should organise something Trev (cos it is such a brilliant idea!)

Welcome aboard Cackles. Enjoy the fun but don't pick on us Riverlanders as there are a few of us that get on this site from around here. You are right about the frosts though. Had a real good string of them here lately.

Where are you getting the house boat from? Not many from Wunkar LOL Plenty of firewood but. Up stream or Downstream from Loxton is good (Lived there for 10 years b4 moving to Berri.) Top or Bottom of Katty Creek or the sand bar just opposite the top entrance is good except for the October long weekend. Every man and his dog goes there then.
