In
Birdsville at the moment.
Information centre closed. Anyone travelled across to Hadden’s corner in the last few days? Quite a bit of water around on the way down from
Bedourie.
Heading across to
Windorah and we’re wanting to drop down to the corner. Towing a van.
Thanks

The road to the Haddens turnoff is currently open to 4x4 only. People tend to leave their vans either at the turnoff to Hadens or the turnoff to Arraburry and drive the tow vehicle in. There are two dunes just before Haddens that will make it interesting for a van or camper

Thanks all. Back in touch with the world after a few great nights.
Road in to Haddens quite ok. Towed our 18’ van into the first dune. Had a good look at it and decided we could get across ok taking the right
fork. No problems.
Next was the smaller dune and got over that also with no difficulty. Camped right at the marker.
Very muddy walking across to the market, ended up taking shoes off. Did the obligatory one leg in Qld and one in SA.
Trip out not a problem. Wouldn’t try the first dune head on though if you were towing. Take the right
fork.
Thanks all.
