Carry a good spare and a bit of drinking water and don't overload the car.
I've seen little Datsuns at Birdsville and they were OK
The road in from Maree is now mainly an easy 80Kph dirt road.
Just be wary of any washaways that have/had water flowing in them as they can be quite deep.
The road ( no longer a track ) has many sharp gibber stones on the stony desert part that can cut the unwary's tyres, cost me 2 last trip there.

I think it is something you would regret. It will be fine at a reduced speed until you get north of Clifton Hills. Then the rocks become a problem for your tyres, sidewall size and underbody through the Sturt Stoney Desert section.

I'd call Mungerannie and take their advice. They will know if it is a problem or not - they have to fix any issues.

Maybe go via Innaminka and Nappa Merri. I think it will be quicker and a hell of a lot less stress for that vehicle.

If you do go, take at least two spares and a puncture repair kit.
