Burketown to Booroloola

If you don't need to go to Burketown then it would probably be quicker on the blacktop all the way from Noosa.

I would go to Barkly then head north, it has been a wet wet, the tinny might start floating while still on the trailer on some of the water crossings via Hells Gate

Glad to said you don't mind rough roads; Barkley Homestead to Cape Crawford pub is a doosy. :-)

Made it to Booroloola with out any dramas, the road was actually better than I remember.
Any vehicles coming toward me, I pull off the bitumen and almost stop leaving the road to them.....no busted windscreens.
Now to hopefully catch a few fish.
Have found the traveller app and offline maps excellent.
A bit slow on the old 8 inch Samsung, but apparently a new one, Tab A7 lite, will be out in June.
