Would anyone care to have a guess what this lake is called?

Clue: it is north of the 26th parallel

Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan, I'm not seeing any photos? Not sure if everybody is in the boat so it may just be my work's puter settings, which normally isn't an issue.

Hi Stefandsal
15 years since I went to Lake Poeppel, I can see the resemblance - but no, that's not it.

Gee Alan, it's like you have taken a photo of a clump of spinifex and said where is this? Mind you I do recognise a tent among the photos.

Probably isn’t , but my first thought when I saw the pics was Lake Dora - west of Punmu?
See 'My Profile' (below) for link to our Aussie travel blog, now in it's 6th year.

Hi Graham,

Not Lake Gregory, it's not that far north.
It's actually south of the Tropic of Capricorn (clue 6)

Hey you got it Al,

Lake Breaden.

Named after Joseph Breaden by DW Carnegie when they passed by in 1897.

There is also a Breaden Bluff, Breaden Hills and Breaden Pool.

Cheers
Alan
