Nice work. Makes me want to get out there again.

I first visited Mt Holland in 2010 and the view from the top was woodland as far as the eye could see.

In late 2017 it was burnt bush for miles around. Very sad. It is looking just a little better.

Would love to know the history of the water tank on the Marvel Loch road.

Cheers

Hey Rocco,

Here's an old map with some tanks on it.

I think the big tank with the corrugated iron roof is called Dulcie Jean Tank - on the Forrestonia Southern Cross Road.

Cheers
Alan

Thanks Alan.

Would love to know who Dulcie Jean was and why the tank was built.

Somebody will know.

Maybe there was some mining there. A lot of work went into that.

Cheers

Edit: google tells me there was a Dulcie Jean mine. More reading required
