One of the Paine and Barkley survey markers Paul? It's not the one near Windaldarra Rockhome but I presume it's along the 1931 expedition route.

Well it might be time for a clue...
There is something in the background of the picture I was sure would give it away
& the location is further west of where Mick O thought.....
Cheers

Hi Jim
Just had a look, can't see what you mean...
If there is that's not the feature in the background I'm talking about as a clue..
Just had a closer look, do you mean
the rock that looks like a wombat on it's back with it's front claws extended ? Or is that just my imagination now ? LOL
Cheers
Paul

OK, is that a rustic cross on the right? Still doesn’t help me, but perhaps another clue.
By the way, there’s another animal head up higher !!
Must be seeing things.??
Cheers

Yes, you are seeing things now ! lol
Yes the cross should be a clue to someone, or am I the only one to have stopped at this place ?
Here's another clue ....... It's in WA. Between a couple of big deserts
Cheers

Paul,
I also like
Pick This Place. Although I have travelled quite extensively through the outback, there are many
places that I have not been to, and this segment drives me to keep exploring.
Macca.
