Beegull Waterholes were named by the Paine and Barclay Expedition in 1931 using the Aboriginal name. At this waterhole site you can also see Aboriginal art is painted on the walls. The site is easily located by the white cross atop the rocky cliff which can be seen from the main road. The White Cross has become the name of this tourist site on the "Outback Way".
