G'Day All
Thought I'd share a video of our recent trip to the South Australian outback. This is an area we love to travel but had not stopped here before.
This Video is from a stay at
Waukaringa Ruins on Tea Tree Rd. Just north of
Yunta.
It is part one of the trip, If there's any interest I will post more as I get them done.
I'm no pro so don't be too critical - Hope this works !
Cheers
Paul

Good video footage, editing and commentary. Great area, we were up there this time last year. Michael

We camped at the
ruins last September on the way to Arkaroola...the colours of the surrounding landscape at sunrise were
well worth getting up early to see

Yeah, we were on our way to Arkaroola too, had driven up the the other side of the
Flinders Ranges a few times before, thought we would try something different this time. Great country we have

If anyone is genuinely interested in the history of
Waukaringa there's an excellent book called Off the Barrier Highway by Kevin Kakosche.. its available at BP
Yunta and details the history of a number of mines in the area..

Thanks Paul for the great video on the
Waukaringa Ruins. It brought back memories for me because I worked on Melton Station 54 years ago and see the changes to the old town through your video.
I remember about 4-5 houses on the main road from
Yunta to Koonamore Station and now they are gone.
We (station hands from Melton) travelled through
Waukaringa to Glenorchy Station for work many time a month. Thanks from Paul
