Birdsville.four days.
Toyota Hilux 2002 extra cab 3 litre efi diesel.
Used 81 litres , 8.8 Klm/litre
Carried 175 litres fuel
Tyres 205R 16 AT with tubes on split rim.
No punctures or problems
Pressure 17 rear , 14 front .
Top speed 40 , lowest continuous 10. Cheers G

Garry, thanks for the info. Great trip the Simpson. Interesting about the front tyre pressures must have been soft conditions.

And maybe the tyre pressures indicate that he did less track damage than many?
