There are plenty of easy tracks drive up over the Thompson
Dam , going towards Aberfeldy you have Merringtons Tk down to
the Junction cross the Aberfeldy River and Donnellys Ck follow Donnellys Tk out to McEvoys Tk , go have a look at Mt Useful and then down to
Walhalla you can't get any easier than that , don't even really need to select 4WD .
Best Map for that area is Rooftops-
Walhalla -
Woods Point Adventure Map .
There are plenty of other Tracks a little more challenging if you want but most are reasonably easy in the dry .
What 4WD do you have and when are you coming from ?

So you are new to 4WD I'm assuming .
The drive through the Donnellys would be a good place to start , there are a couple of tracks off the Donnelly Creek track you could have a look at that are reasonably steep 4WD tracks but drivable in std 4WD , you can just look , don't have to drive them if you don't want to .
I have been driving , camping up in that area for longer than I can remember all the tracks are pretty good now days.
Would you like to follow along behind someone , can I ask what age bracket you are in .
