Hi we are doing a trip from
Brisbane to
Birdsville then down the
Birdsville Track and up the
Oodnadatta track to Ayres
Rock. We are looking at hiring a Hybrid as we don't want to take our caravan. The only place we can find that hires hybrids have no availability. Does anyone know of anywhere that hires hybrids near
Brisbane

I believe this following company is the one Russell is speaking about. They are called "hybrids" because they're cross between a camper and a caravan.
Complete campsite
They have a "hire" link at the bottom of the page, showing hiring companies in 4 States.
Russell, if you find a hirer, you will need to confirm with that hirer, that they are agreeable to the route you are proposing.
Many hire companies have restrictions on where their hired items can be used.
Cheers, Ron.

Have you tried Conqueror? I understand they have UEV490 units for hire.

There's a bloke on gumtree with a couple of uev490's for hire down Bethania way. You'll have to get creative with the search text.
