We are sailing from Melbourne to Hobart on a Tall Ship between 13 Sept & 23 Sept 2013 & need to find somewhere to leave a Nissan Patrol & camper trailer during this period. Somewhere roughly between Tullamarine & Port Melbourne might be OK. Does anyone know of a suitable place?

Thanks in advance.

Ashley Gardens CP have an area where you can leave your rig. It's free if you leave it there between 10 AM and when you leave for te Tasmanian ferry but costs if you leave it longer.

Hi snoop, try local van parks as suggested, also van sales yards/dealers & repairers often have storage capacity. also..general storage yards ( self store) or truck related dealers/yards . we used a van dealer for 1 mth about 5 yrs ago, had to go out of town a bit but. took vehicle only to Tassie, this was because vans on ferry cost a fair bit and can also be a hassle for accom in Tassie. sorry cant remember details , where exactly it was, but recollect it was north of city. shouldn't be too hard to look up van dealers on net. (by vague memory try out narra warren way. ) can also try an ad in local community news-looking for temp storage.
all the best.
