Sir Kev & Darkie
Has anyone done this road lately and have a condition report?
I need to get to
Mitchell,
Injune and
Taroom in 1 day for work so am looking at the shortest route possible (off road if needed).
Cheers Kev

Kev
Thats a hard track at the start at the
Injune end and runs into a nice drive of bitumen at the the
Taroom end. The Dawson R crossing would be passable at this time . the
Roma to
taroom rd may be a faster track
cheers Kev too!

Kev,
Hard as in serious off road or hard as in slow going?
Have been thinking about the
Roma-
Taroom rd as it is all bitumen now :)
Cheers Kev

There is a shortcut - a good dirt road - from the
Injune-
Roma road to the
Roma-
Taroom road, past one of the stations (Springvale??). Do you know that?
Cheers,
John

Kev
Hard as slow going because of natural bedrock which is the road and not gravel, probably nothing to worry about if ya got good
suspension. It is not good in a cab with steer over over front axle eg Isuzu nps unless you want to ride a bronc
