Travel to Iron Range NP. on Cape York Peninsula

Wife and I are planning a trip to Iron Range NP leaving Perth middle of May.We will be towing an off road Jayco van and realize that we will be unable to take it all the way. Any info. on where to leave the van and other helpful hints would be very much appreciated.
