We are Ray and Jude from
Perth, WA and are travelling full time around Australia. In 2016 we explored Tasmania for five months. Between mid January and mid May 2017 we returned to WA for a family reunion, explored the
Flinders Ranges, and went to
Broken Hill where we visited the Mad Max 2 museum at
Silverton. We also attended the Man From
Snowy River Festival in Corryong, Victoria, the Stone The Crows Festival in Wagga Wagga, NSW and the South Australian Wooden Boat Festival in
Goolwa, South Australia.
In May 2017 we went back to Tasmania where we were the onsite caretakers at RiverBreeze Caravan and Cabin Park in Smithton, north west Tasmania. We stayed there until early November 2017.
After a quick return to
Perth, as of February 2018, we are on the road again.
Update 6th July 2020 - Since February 2018 we have continued to travel full time around Australia doing volunteer work and housesitting. We are currently housesitting near
Busselton, South West Western Australia. We will be here until 30th September and then start our travels again.
Update 5th January 2024
We are still travelling but in recent years primarily between South Australia and
Alice Springs. This year we hope to also get back to WA and head up to the
Kimberley.
