Description

Leaf linear to lanceolate, to 30 cm long and 13 mm wide, dark green.

Inflorescence to 46 cm high, 1–5-flowered. Sepals and lateral petals reddish brown with darker stripes. Labellum c. 15 mm long, c. 8 mm wide, broad; lamina with glossy whitish mauve, purple-maroon or bronzy beard, the calli shorter and warty towards base; elongated apex crisped and bearing calli on at least half its surface. Column collars each with purple gland at base; rim interconnecting collars prominent, purplish.

Flowering start in September and ends in January.
