One of the rare Caladenias only discovered in 2006 by Greg Bussell. Greg is perhaps the foremost expert on orchids in the lower and south west areas . He is self trained and has at least one orchid named after him. The Boranup spider orchid, Caladenia boranup, discovered by Greg is one of stunning spider orchids with a very deep reddish pink labellum and occurs only in a small area in the Augusta shire.

Flowering start in October.
