Description

Long slender, variegated leaves. Blossoms are up to about 25cm x 15cm, of a dark purple/reddish colour with a foul odour like rotten meat that attracts insects.

Flowering start in January and ends in March.

Identification

The main flower colour is purple.

Uses

Aboriginals treat the tubers with fire to make them edible.
