Bramwell Station is the most northerly operating cattle station in Australia. Located near the southern end of the Old telegraph Track, it has a range of accommodation including motel and cabins and an extensive area for camping. All
camp sites are unpowered.
A feature of Bramwell Station is the restaurant which offers a smorgasbord meal and aims at providing live entertainment throughout the tourist season.
Camping patrons have access to good hot showers and flush
toilet facilities.The
camp ground is accessed from
Bamaga Road (Telegraph Road ) about 7 km south of
Bramwell Junction Roadhouse. This is the only road into the
camping area which is about 5 km off the PDR.
The
campground is adjacent to the original
homestead and cattle yards. Often, there is live entertainment at the Bar. At the ringing of the station’s bell is happy hour at the licenced Bar which usually kicks off with a station chat to introduce the property to visitors.
