Campground is located on the edge of the
Innamincka Regional Reserve and provides little shade.
Toilet facilities are located at the
Cooper Creek day visitor area and
campground, approximately 20 km north. Access for high clearance 4WD only. Camping is suitable for tents and camper trailers. There are no facilities at the site which offers space for a max 12 vehicles in unallocated campsites. Seasonal fire restrictions apply but campfires are permitted when there are no fire restrictions.Climatically and scenically, April and October are the best times to visit this park. The summer months from November through to February can be very hot and dry. If you are lucky enough to visit the park a few weeks after a soaking rain, you will be rewarded with ephemeral wildflowers and the sound of frogs in flowing creeks.Malkumba-
Coongie Lakes National Park is located 100km north west of Innamincka. Access is along the Strzelecki Track, via
