Laura Bay Conservation Park is 23km south east of
Ceduna. It protects and represents the original vegetation that once covered South Australia's western coastline. The sheltered bay, with its tidal samphire flats and mangroves, provides ideal feeding grounds for migratory sea birds.
Self-sufficient
bush camping is available in this park with campfires permitted outside the annual Fire Danger Season. There are very limited facilities in the park.
Access is via Decres Bay Road (unsealed) turning right onto
Laura Bay Road after 19km. Or, from Flinders Highway turn directly into
Laura Bay Road. Inside the Park follow any signs.
Fees apply to
camp in this park. Please pay for vehicle entry and book your
campsite prior to arrival as self registration stations are no longer available in this park.
