Located within the Kanagra-Boyd National Park, the Boyd River
camping area is about 20 km along Kanangra Road from
the junction with
Jenolan Caves Road, which runs between
Jenolan Caves and
Oberon.
Sites are located on both sides of the road, with designated areas for caravans, campers and tents. There are
toilets on both sides of the road and a substantial
shelter with an open fire place to the west of the road.
The road to the
camp ground and on to Kanangra Walls is solid gravel,
well wide enough for passing vehicles and in good condition providing easy access for any vehicles with reasonable ground clearance. There are no water crossings.
There are no camping fees but you must pay a small booking fee. Book via the website or call.
Facilities include picnic tables, bbq, and
toilets but you can byo firewood and enjoy a campfire.
Suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans.
