Dunns Swamp is located in the
Wollemi National Park 35 Km east of the small town of
Rylstone on the Central Tablelands of NSW. Ganguddy
campground has excellent appointed
camp area near a river. Recently upgraded facilities but no drink water. Bring your own supply for drinking and cooking. Remember to treat or boil all water taken from creeks in the park.
No bookings required, first in, first served. 80 sites $5 pp and $3 for 5 to 15 yr old kids. Camping fees are payable on-site via self registration. There are no marked sites, however campervans and caravans are limited to about 15 sites. Limited firewood is supplied at the
campground and collecting firewood in the park is not permitted, but you can bring your own supply. Firewood is available for purchase at the BP Service Station on Louee St,
Rylstone.
Canoeing and kayaking are popular and there are good tracks for bush walking with one leading to outstanding
views from the Pagoda Rocks.
Generators, chainsaws and dogs are not permitted in this park. Rubbish
bins are not provided so please take your rubbish with you.
Front-wheel-drive vehicles towing caravans and heavy trailers are not recommended. A current NSW recreational fishing licence is required when fishing in all waters. There is a 4 knot maximum speed limit for all motorboats.
