The
free camping and day use areas are at the top of the ravine into which the falls cascade. Dog friendly and accessible to caravans and big rigs.
The falls are about 5 km from the Bunya Highway with the turn to the south at the hamlet of Kinbombi. The falls can also be approached from the south. Kinbombi Road joins on to the
Kilcoy - Murgon Road.
The
picnic area and individual camping areas are separated by logs. There is adequate space for about 6 large vans. Two sets of picnic tables have been provided. Flush
toilets.
The steps continue on, about another 450 of them, to the foot of the falls. Where required for safety hand rails are provided.
Kinbombi Falls are a series of rapids on Kinbombi Creek between
Goomeri and Kilkivan.
