Kooroorinya Falls Basalt Wall Nature Reserve - QLD

This camping area is located on private cattle station property adjacent to an horse racing track on one side, and a small basalt gorge on the other side. Guests are welcomed by caretakers. The camping area is often used to host groups visiting for the Oakley Picnic Races so there is good infrastructure with hot showers, toilets, fire pits and numerous shade shelters (bookable for those not self sufficient). Accessible via tar road from Prairie and then a short stretch of good dirt road and well signed access. Beautiful sunsets, abundant wildlife and a little creek that features a little waterfall after significant rains.
