Victoria River Bridge - NT

Update: Early March 2023 this bridge was flooded to 2.5 metres above the deck.
High level bridge should be flood proof given it is 6 m higher than the old one. But intense rainfall over the catchment can test the hydrologists predictions. The new bridge deck is 19.5 m on the river level gauge and the closest it has risen previously was 19.38 m in Dec 2015. 2023 level was almost 22 m
