This spot was named after a local cockler, Charlie Godfrey. Today Godfreys landing is a very popular place for all types of watercraft, from kayaks to the large tourist boats that take day visitors from
Goolwa. Camping is not permitted at this spot, but either side of the landing to keep the landing open to watercraft. Those that make a day trip, there are eco friendly
toilets, large
shelter shed and information bay about the area.
