Tiger Trap Gully is set in a group of breakaways. Some of the interesting names of features in this breakaway system include Signal Point and Crow
Cave Hill. There is a evidence of a dry water fall from the plateau up near the western side of the two valleys. Those that are fit and able may want to climb up onto the top of the plateau and then walk around towards the east to the other valley. This is a very pretty spot and a most interesting walk. The vitas from the top of the plateau to the south are superb and there is a large cave/overhang providing interesting
views of pseudo bitumen. At the time, it was very hard and had lots of fur mixed with it - and the piles were about 250mm high. Allow an hour for the round trip back to the vehicles as it’s a worth while walk. Do wear stout shoes and gaiters, take water and wear a hat.
