This
bore was constructed in July 1982 by the
Geraldton Historic Society and party containing Stan Gratte, Harry Leaver, M. CHANT, A. Benzie and P & G Tucker. This is an excellent spot for a
campsite but you will need to pick up firewood before arriving at the site.
The
bore produces good quality sweet
drinking water. There is a
plaque commemorating the build team and it states "It may save a life. Use it, respect it, leave it here". Sage advice.
