The Beach camping area can only be accessed by 4WD vehicles via a very steep access road and river crossings can become impassible after recent rains. This
campground is located at the south-western edge of the park in a secluded spot next to the Abercrombie River on a stretch of sand. Shaded by
casuarinas, it’s sheltered by a wall of
rock deep in the valley. There's a deep
waterhole that's great for swimming nearby.
Facilities are limited to a pit
toilet and bbq. Sites are unpowered and not marked but you must book (camping is free). Use link from this page to Parks website.
