Lane Poole Falls is a pleasant 10m waterfall located in the beautiful Karri
Forrest on the Canterbury River between the township of
Northcliffe and
Shannon National Park.
The waterfall is one of the most rewarding sites after walking the two and a half kilometres from the car park and makes for a pleasant diversion as
well as an excellent excuse to see the towering karri trees that only grow in the temperate climate of southern WA. During winter, the falls would get mistier and fatter and the thundering roar from the cascade of long rains will take your breath away.
