This is an excellent and popular
free camp set in a river valley a short drive off
Walcha Road (Thunderbolt's Way) north of Barrington. Two
toilet blocks have been provided (long drop) one is quite new and the other older. There is a whole river of water running past the area for showers or for drinking after boiling and a regular garbage collection. Users seem to stay for long periods.
The area is broad and flat and
well grassed. Two rivers meet here so there are a large number of river front
camp sites.
