Davis River - WA

Broad sandy based river, a tributary hat flows into the mighty Oakover not to far to the north of this crossing.

Clear track in from the main Skull Springs Road. Area is used to muster cattle with a fenced 'race' area nearby.

Lovely long but shallow pools in the river bed which is sandy but easily negotiated with reduced tyre pressures.

If it looks like rain, do not camp within the bed of the creek. These rivers can go from bone dry to a raging torrent metres deep in minutes.
