The Acraman Creek estuary is part of the
Acraman Creek Conservation Park that consists of the creek, ocean beaches, sand dunes, mangrove, samphire and mallee habitats. It is an important feeding location for many coastal birds, including migratory waders such as sandpipers and stilts that journey from the Arctic Circle. To launch boats into the creek you can use the
Day Use Area (2WD accessible) or if you have a 4WD you can launch from the mouth of the creek at Port Lindsay. Fishing, boating and kayaking is popular in the creek.
