This permanent
waterhole is located just 16km south west of
Isisford on the
Isisford Yaraka River Road. It is popular for camping, fishing and water activities. Hot showers and
toilet facilities are available and there is
boat ramp access. Oma
Waterhole is also the venue for the annual
Isisford Fishing Competition.
Camping as at January 2023, $5 per vehicle per night (or $27 per week) - payable at the Council Offices. Potable water,
well-maintained
toilets and a
dump point is located at the entry to the
camping area. Further
toilets and hot (solar) and cold showers are in
Isisford Park close to the Council building. Oma
Waterhole seems to be
well known as a clean and large
camping area for those with camper trailers and caravans.
This
camp ground is subject to wet weather and flooding. Before camping please
check weather conditions and register at the
Isisford Council Office.
Cattle can graze day and night, if you hear something going bump in the night!
